Touching Lives in Central Region: Shelter, Scholarships & Outreach
The Central Region of Ghana, known for its coastal towns and historic Christian roots, holds a special place in Beulah Foundation’s vision. Many pastors and evangelists who served in isolated fishing villages and forested hinterlands now face retirement with little to show for their labor. Our work here is about restoring dignity and laying new foundations of hope for them and their families.
In the past year, Beulah Foundation provided fully funded housing units for retired ministers in the Agona and Komenda-Edina areas. These structures are not just buildings—they represent honor and rest for those who gave their all to the Kingdom. In addition, the foundation awarded scholarships to over 30 children of ministers, helping them access secondary and tertiary education they would otherwise struggle to afford. Our outreach team also launched a special coastal evangelism initiative, hosting open-air meetings in rural fishing communities. This project saw many lives touched and local churches strengthened. We also distributed welfare support packs—including food, clothing, and medication—to aging pastors and widows in need.
Challenge & Solution
Many retired ministers in the Central Region reside in hard-to-reach areas with poor infrastructure. These conditions made both assessment and delivery of aid difficult. To address this, our team partnered with local church networks and community leaders to identify needs and deliver solutions quickly. Our mobile outreach vans made access possible, even in off-grid locations.
Final Result
Through our interventions in the Central Region, over 60 families have experienced improved living conditions, and more than a dozen communities have encountered the gospel afresh. What began as acts of service have grown into a movement of compassion, rooted in Kingdom impact and social restoration.
